It's daring and dazzling, according to Fiat: it's the limited-edition 500 Pink, which goes on sale today.
Based on the Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge, the Pink edition adds £1500-worth of extra equipment including a sunroof and, of course, the special colour scheme – yet costs only £1000 more, at £11,700.
The biggest surprise is that it's taken this long to make the 500 available in pink – the closest alternatives from the standard colour range being two shades of red.
Fiat believes the 500 Pink will be attractive 'mainly to young women', incredibly. It's said to be the first in a string of Fiat 500 special editions due for release this year – no doubt in an effort to retain some limelight in a year when new MINI models and the Audi A1 will be unveiled.
