Autocar is looking for an experienced sub-editor who will play a key part in the busy production process of a frontline weekly car magazine. You will work with a small, talented team to help produce a vibrant, topical, hard-hitting magazine that's held in the highest regard around the world. In particular, you will be responsible for maintaining the impeccable standards of editorial accuracy and quality for which Autocar is famous, despite the pressures of weekly deadlines.

Person Specification You will have already held a senior subbing role on another publication, or be an experienced freelance sub, with a keen eye for detail, a flair for the written word, an interest in cars and go-getting attitude. Ideally, you'll also know the difference between a Cayman and a Cayenne.Being able to work quickly as well as accurately is also essential.
