Coventry offers two journalism joint-honours degree courses: Journalism and Media, and Journalism and English.

These courses are intended to combine practical journalism skills with a broader study of either media theory or the English language.

Media subjects are taught within the Media and Communication department of Coventry's School of Art and Design, while English subjects are delivered by the Department of English and Languages (which also offers an English degree which includes some study of journalism, called English and Journalistic Studies).

I'm involved mostly in the practical project work, such as the writing and layout of the CUtoday newspaper which the students produce in their final year.
