About me

I've been writing about cars and motorsport for more than 20 years, during which time I've tested everything from Citroen 2CV-powered three-wheelers to two-seat Formula 1 cars.
I started out writing technical articles for car magazines, then edited one for six years. I went freelance in 2002 and since then I've written road tests, technical articles, drive stories, classic car tests, consumer features, interviews and more for all sorts of media.
My aim is always to present copy which is on time, original, entertaining, technically accurate and so clinically precise in its spelling, punctuation and grammar that the subs feel left out.
